Weekend Wishes

Happy Weekend everyone! This week went by so quickly, its hard to believe the weekend is here already. I'm excited to spend some time with my family and enjoy this beautiful weather by the pool during the day and catch up with some friends from high school too! Hope everyone has some fun plans for the weekend as well.

Wish List

This weekend my family and I went shopping quite a bit. I can usually find something to buy in just about every store, but this weekend we were on the hunt for clothes for my sister. We drove to White Plains, New York Saturday afternoon to shop at Bloomingdales for a couple of hours and I came across two purchases that I honestly considered but added them to my wish list instead. Have any of you ever heard of WILDFOX? They made amazingly soft and cozy loungewear... I mean really soft! I loved the big sweatshirt and sweatpants. We went out to the mall again on Monday and I considered buying a pair of Sperry boat shoes, at this point I am thinking this pair would make the most sense to buy.

Pop of Florals

Now that summer is officially on the way, and the colder days are behind us (I hope) its nice to spend time outside enjoying the beautiful summer flower and warmer temperatures. I've always been attracted to vibrant colored flowers, I think they add a fabulous pop to any design and I've come across a couple of florals that certainly don't disappoint. I love this painting... the color is stunning and the floral detailing is even more amazing. Ever since my sister and I got our doll house when we were little (outdoor shed that looks like a doll house I mean) we always had little window boxes to fill with spring and summer blooms. I love the crisp white home with the pink flowers... the green door is pretty fabulous as well! Lastly, the chinoiserie inspired tabletop is knockout... everything from the flowered wallpaper to the vase filled to the brim with blooms sets the table for the perfect party.

Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day! I hope everyone is spending the day giving thanks to all of those that have served our country. I took this photo walking around my stunning campus at the beginning of this year and I thought it would be perfect to debut again today! Have a wonderful day with friends and family.

Summer White

I came across this picture last summer and fell in love with the combination... I love everything about this outfit and I have been in search of some more white pant combinations that I love just as much. I think I've found some other amazing options that are just as classic and put together... I just came across the blog Classy and Fabulous and the blogger has a knack of pairing crisp white pants with classic button downs, sweaters and great heals. What do you think? 

Time To Decompress

Hello! Its been such a long time since my last blog post... these past few weeks have been a complete whirlwind. I finished my sophomore year of college on Friday, and the weeks leading up to were packed with assignments. Finals week was beyond exhausting, I was getting 3-4 hours of sleep each night and although the week felt like it was never going to end, it is officially over! Sophomore year was amazing, I had so many amazing experiences both academically and socially that I am so grateful for and will never forget. It's hard for me to believe that I am half way done with college, next semester I am off to Copenhagen, Denmark to study abroad... I will keep updating the blog with pictures and experiences throughout that journey)! In the meantime, however, I will be getting a lot of rest, preparing for my trip, and going back to my amazing campus for a couple of weeks to do research in my lab.
