Adventures in the Snow

Good morning everyone! I hope that you had an amazing weekend and enjoyed the weather. In New England it snowed for two days straight, we got close to 3 feet of snow! We haven't had weather like this in two years so it was fun to bring out the hats, scarves and sleds and have some fun with my friends. During the day we went sledding and walked our stunning campus to see who else was out enjoying the fun {so many students were milling about campus sledding, making snowmen and making snow igloos and forts}. We actually enjoyed some time in a snow igloo ourselves... they even put lights on the inside and made a door {I didn't take a good picture of the whole thing but it was huge, at least 10 people could fit in it!}

Today we technically have no classes but being a science major my professors don't take no for an answer! So I have lab this afternoon and a review session tonight for a test tomorrow. It's never ending but the key is to just keep swimming through it all and keep checking things off the list!

Weekend Wishes

Happy Weekend everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful and productive week! There was a ton going on this week at school but overall the week was a great one. Now that is snow is supposed to be hitting New England quite hard {up to 24 inches in the next two days} it seems like I might be snowed in for the weekend. I have to admit, thats not a bad thing for me... I have a ton of little assignments to get done that aren't for school but are necessary and it would really force me to sit and get everything done if I was snowbound on campus. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend... for all you New Englanders enjoy the snow!

Valentines Day Gift Ideas

What I love most about February is the transition from winter to spring. Although the weather is usually really cold and snowy here in New England all of the stores have their newest lines coming out. Pops of color, adorable patterns and fabulous pieces are everywhere and Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Jeans and a White Tee

I will be the first to admit that my style has always been very plain jane. I would much rather prefer wearing solid colored clothing and some nice jewels instead of some crazy pattern or crazy color... I'm just not that brave. Hehe. So naturally jeans and a white tee is a look that I love, I usually wear jeans (blue or black) with a white tee and a blazer or sweater. Although I love how simple and effortless these women look!

Monday's Motivation

I came across this last week and immediately after seeing it online, I printed it out and put it on my bulletin board to look at each day! I love each and every one of these little lessons to live by and I read them at different times throughout the day to be reminded of the little things. I have to say attitude is the most important on for me, remaining positive and optimistic in all situations is one of the most important things for me. I find that if I am in a bad mood things just don't work out but when I try and be positive I tend to be more productive, motivated and happy. Happy Birthday Mom!!

Today is a BIG day! It's my mom's birthday... my best friend, my partner in crime, the person who I can talk to about anything, is celebrating her birthday and I am so happy that I get to celebrate with her! I wanted to dedicate this post to you mom, to tell you how amazing you are and that I can't wait to have many, many more years of Lucy and Ethel moments with you!
