The First Day In Rome

I'm finally here! 

After a three hour flight delay and one of my group member's lost suitcase, our 9 hour travel time turned into 15... but its all worth it because I'm in Rome. Here are some of my pictures thus far.

Ciao... I'm Off To Rome

Today is the day... 

I'm off to Rome for three weeks and am finally done packing and am ready to go!

Yesterday's packing nightmare... hehe. 

 I cannot wait to explore a new place, eat amazing food and learn a little bit of Italian (considering I'm 50% I should know something). 

I will be updating my blog regularly with pictures, stories and other Roman inspired ideas while I am away so you guys can experience my trip along with me!

Colorful Interiors

 I've always loved eclectic interiors that look as though the accessories have been acquired from all over the world... and lately I've been attracted to rooms that have pops of color and pattern throughout as well! The more fun and eclectic the room, the more like home it really looks. Some fabulous interiors that look as though they have fun and global owners... 

What are your favorite design elements that make your house a home?  

I love the neutral sofa with the hot pink welt and the pink details throughout. 

Eclectic to the max... loving the colors and patterns... looks like such a happy home! 

Mixing the old and new with pattern and color makes this interior fab!

Now I'm off to run a couple more errands and then time to pack for Rome... xox

I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and every obstacle, good or bad, makes you a better person. I've always tried to be a positive thinker and twist the bad situations and make them seem like life lessons and this quote coincides well with everything I believe in!

It seems like the best and most trendy way to accessorize any outfit this summer is with pops of neon... 

I'm loving Kourtney's shoes and necklace... by pairing these brights

with a classic black dress she looks chic and still understated.

Mixing simpler clothing pieces with bright jewels seems to be the way to go!
